Cricklade House Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

We stayed for three nights at the hotel and were very well looked after by the staff, particularly Shannon and Izzey in the restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious, as was the beer and wine that dinner was washed down with. Everywhere looked clean and well cared for. Our room in the Courtyard was very comfortable and as I have trouble walking it was ideal as it only involved two steps up into our room. There was plenty of parking and even a charging facility for electric vehicles although we had no need for that as we were visiting in a 1938 Austin, called Herbert. Herbert said that he was green so should park in a green parking space, so we let him for five minutes. He could not understand the white car parked next to him with a wire plugged into it for hours! The views from the conservatory were stunning over the valley looking towards Swindon (which was mostly hidden). Although we did not partake there were various interesting games courses in the grounds as well as, I believe, a spa which some guests seemed to be enjoying. This was our second visit to the Cricklade House Hotel and Spa and we will, hopefully, visit again next year.

Booking in process. Staff brilliant as my wife had a medical issue whilst we were there & they couldn't have been more helpful or understanding. Leisure facilities very good & room facilities are also very good.

Enjoyed our evening meal, food and service very good in lovely surroundings. Swimming pool and changing rooms were clean and accommodating. We had drinks, on arrival, outside overlooking the views which were excellent for unwinding after a long drive.

The breakfast was excellent, a full English breakfast that was definitely worth it! Our room was exceptionally spacious, more like a studio, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The facilities were also impressive, especially the pool and tennis courts. The staff were outstanding! Polite, attentive, and always willing to help. We truly appreciated their hospitality.

The staff were very kind and helpful. A breath of fresh air really. The changing room to the pool was very clean, in fact the morning we were leaving there was a member of staff cleaning in there. It makes a refreshing change to go away and the changing rooms in the pool to that clean and well looked after. Pool was really nice, unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t explore further. But the grounds and view were beautiful. Food was nice at our evening meal. Sorbet was lovely. Fresh coffee served at breakfast! Not a serve yourself coffee machine in sight!!!! For which I thank you!!! 😀 Lovely fresh fruits.
